This morning, we woke up early to do an engagement session of a wonderful couple who's wedding we are photographing in August (during Hot August Nights!)

Kaitlin we bright and chipper and ready for the day. We love couples who are willing to photographer early (when the lighting is the best) and are happy to be there. We were lucky enough to have permission from Reno Auto & Truck Wreckage to let us photograph before hours. Cars are a big part of Tyler's life. In fact, for their wedding, every bridal party couple will be driving a different vintage car. It's going to be amazing! We can't wait for the wedding! 

Thanks, you two, for being so wonderful. We had a lot of fun:)

Who says that Tahoe is only pretty during the summer?! This wedding was gorgeous regardless of what time of year it was at. I love that the couple embraced the snowy atmosphere and still had fun. This whole wedding was a blast: the groom/groomsmen were hilarious, the bride/brides maids were easy going, the family of both sides were inviting and welcoming.....There were so many great things about this day. The bride is located in The Victorian House with us; she and her mom own Take the Cake Events doing wedding and event planning. It was great getting to see a different side of her. She was BEAUTIFUL! We are so happy for both of them and wish them many long years together:)

What a great opportunity I had to take this family's pictures! We were lucky enough to photograph this couples wedding a couple of years ago and they've returned to capture their gorgeous family. It was a little nippy with the cold breeze but their daughter was such a trooper. I don't think I heard her complain the whole time. It was a lot of fun seeing them and I'm so glad they were in town for the holidays. The session couldn't have gone better:)

The portraits were taken downtown Reno in some of the back alleys.

This was a very cold but very fun morning with this couple. We took them in Verdi at this very unique building. They brought their own props and a change of clothes that made the session very original and exciting. The costume that they wore was so amazing, especially with the setting. We were even able to get their dogs in the pictures. It was great to meet them both. It was the perfect beginning to the day:)

Aren't animals such a joy to have!? I keep trying to convince my husband to let us have a little dog to keep in the house:) These dogs were such a joy to photograph. It was fun seeing them interact with each other and play with their toys. I didn't hear a bark out of them the whole photo session. They found us through Pet Playhouse. We love doing business with them and they are great to take your pets to for daycare. Highly recommend them!

I just wanted to put this little girl in my pocket and take her home with me! She was great throughout the whole session. She never made a peep! I was very excited to meet this family and get to know them. They were in town for the holiday weekend so they took advantage while they were here.

What a fun family! I was able to get some great shots for their Christmas cards as well as some silly shots of all of them having fun together.
